PENNSYLVANIA PIECED CRIB QUILT, hand-stitched, 16 on-point patterned blocks in center on a red printed fabric ground, outline quilting in center and zig-zag quilting along border, brown thread, whole-piece printed fabric backing. Late 19th/early 20th century. 38 1/2" x 38 3/4".
Good overall condition, front with light discoloration on pattern blocks and spots of fading, wear on corners, backing with scattered small stains.
Provenance: From the 50-plus year collection of the late Joan M. Wentz, Germansville, PA.
