Pr. Porcelain Mounted Amethyst Glass Vases. Excellent black amethyst glass vases on round plinth bases have a flattened form with applied etched glass handles with white and blue enamel filigree and gilt highlights. Mounted on the front is a hand painted porcelain plaque measuring 6 in. high x 4.5 in. wide; one plaque depicts an interior scene of 2 boys standing in a basement, the older boy is measuring the younger boy beside a dog standing on its rear legs, the second plaque has a scene of a young girl in a barn carrying a tray of milk to a cat with kittens. Both are in excellent overall condition, no cracks, losses or repairs, has some typical wear to the gold. 24 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 7.25 in. dia. Weight: 20.75 lbs.
