A Japanese bronze figure of Bodhidharma with swirling facial hair and standing upon a scroll shaped platform; from the 17th - 18th century.
Dimensions are: 12 1/8 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good overall condition.
Provenance: From a Washington D.C. collector who was a surgeon and collected these items in the 1970s and 1980s. Each of the lots in his collection come with original receipt and collector's notes. Purchased at Sotheby's London in 1986.
