Description
A Chinese white jade wheel of dharma (fa-lun) form plaque dating from the Ming dynasty. The plaque has a floral center with bands of Greek key, petal, and floral motifs. The central floral piece is free floating and moves independently of the rest of the plaque in a fa-lun. The jade has a brown skin in some areas.
Dimensions are: 1/4 inch tall X 1 7/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in good condition.
Provenance: From a woman's estate in Chicago, Illinois. Her father in law collected prior to the 1970s.
