Description
Pretty folding spectacles or lorgnette. Frame of eyeglass is marked P.M. and the boar's head indicating France. Outer case has a bannet shaped cartouche has no monogram. Folds and opens easily. Tests as a low grade silver. From the collection of Louis Rauch who was the head designer at "Le Petie Musee" in New York before heading off on his own. His work was well known and had many celebrity clients. His work was featured in major publications including Vogue magazine. Included is a picture of his work in Vogue, picture is for illustrative purposes and not for sale.

Wear to the gold wash around the glasses frame.
