This lot consists of an original ink and watercolor drawing on paper, signed "Andy Warhol" in ink at bottom right. Image depicts a beautiful, high-heeled red shoe with contrasting textures and a strap across the front. From the pointed toe to the strategic cut-outs and slightly curved heel, this shoe is perfectly summarized by an accompanying inscription: "Dial M for shoe", a play on a classic Alfred Hitchcock film entitled, 'Dial M for Murder'. It is done in the Pop Art style associated with Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987). Piece measures approximately 8.25" x 11.5".
