DESCRIPTION: A Royal Vienna plate featuring a scalloped center embellished with a scene of a Greco-Roman Neo Classical maiden standing beside a tete de lion fountain in a garden backed by birds hovering overhead and a scenic tree lined backdrop. Enveloping the scene are rouge and beige layers embellished with floral motif cartouches and gilded Greco-Roman meander patterns. Fitted with two dore bronze side handles in scrolled acanthus leaf motifs. Finished with four scrolled rococo motif feet. Marked on the bottom with Royal Vienna mark is well as:"Jarl Kno..."(last letters illegible), along with "Carlsbad".
