German WWII U-Boat U-999 pennant for the car.
It was belonged to the car of captain Oblt. in 1944. The pennant is really nice but all the blue color is gone and the silver insignias are now gray.
Please notice in the 3rd picture we have pulled back the bunting material with my finger to show you the original blue color. The blue color can be seen hiding all along that seam.
Type VIIC/41. Commissioned: Oct 21 1943. Fate: Scuttled Date: May 5 1945. Unlike many other U-Boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes. U-999 did not suffer any casualties we know of until the time of her loss.
