Large & Fine Light Pale Celadon & Russet Jade Roundel, polished and carved in high relief with Pine Trees, 2 Scholar's and 3 attendants near Pavilions at a rocky stream using the russet for the rocks and attendants; the reverse with 2 small lines of russet behind a high relief carving in mostly light celadon jade of a flowering prunus tree with a long-life Crane in the sky, the rocky outcrop with a small lingzhi plant and a small flowering plant. With a well carved hardwood Stand formed as a double scroll platform supporting a rounded bracket pierced with scrolls, flowers and lingzhi. Light age related wear to jade and stand. Diameter of jade 8 3/8 inches (21.4 cm.) X thickness of jade 3/4 inch (2 cm.). Total height with stand 15 inches (38.2 cm.).
