Tokugawa Mon Silvered Metal Water Pot & Stove, possibly for the "Japanese Tea Ceremony", the stove on three feet with two openings for air and tending the charcoal fire with two ring handles to the sides which are well incised with flowers, trailing leaves and the Tokugawa Mon; the small sized waterpot also with ring handles and a pierced top with an inverted flower, the stem forming a finial and also well incised with the same patterns as the stove. Light wear to metal surfaces. Total height 8 3/4 inches (22.3 cm.). Width from handle to handle of stove 7 3/4 inches (19.8 cm.).
