Age: Second half of the 20th Century.

Delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity from Tribal and Ethnic.

Material: Woo and kaolin.

Size: Height 23 cm. Width 8 cm. Thickness 3 cm.

Lega art is linked exclusively to the Bwami society. The objects, used only by the initiates, have a specific role in Lega rites and ceremonies. The statues are used during initiation rites and act as a reminder of proverbs, instructions, or moreover stories about the ancestors.
