15th century AD. A mixed group of ceramic dishes from the Hoi An shipwreck, comprising: two shallow cream ware dishes; one creamware bowl with central painted foliate design; stickers to underside. 641 grams total, 12.5-14.5cm (5-5 3/4"). From the Hoi An shipwreck, with labels. The Hoi An shipwreck was found by fishermen in the early 1990s. The ship was carrying a large quantity of Vietnamese ceramics from the mid- to late-15th century. [3, No Reserve]
