Description
Mainly Late Period, 664-332 BC. A mixed group of amulets and other items comprising: one iridescent glass spindle whorl; one repaired mummiform 'shabti' amulet; one recumbent cat amulet with later suspension loop; one jasper (?) face amulet in later gold mount; one wedjat amulet in later gold ring; one scraboid amulet with geometric design underside, in later gold ring; a bifacial rectangular amulet with saltire cross on each side, hatched edge, pierced for suspension. 25 grams total, 17-44mm (1/2 - 1 3/4"). Property of an American gentleman; acquired 1970s-1990s. [7, No Reserve]
