Description

F. M. Williams. Including an original photo of F.M. Williams and typed letter signed by Williams written to Capt. Sir Hubert Wilkins, on 4to leaf, dated June 3rd, 1931. Both Very Good condition. ************ Letter advises Wilkins (Australian polar explorer) of the location of some supplies at Fort Conger and notes that this equipment is "at [his] disposal in case you might have need for the same." Wilkins was about to embark on the Nautilus Expedition which met with numerous misfortunes and failed to meet the original objective.
