Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. A gorgeous and well-shaped cast-bronze key ring with a circular band, an elongated neck, and a rectangular key face. The key face itself has three notched grooves equidistant from each other, and the entire item has a lovely green patina across all surfaces. Size: 2.25" L (5.7 cm); US ring size: 5.75.
Provenance: private Carlton collection, Los Angeles, California, USA, acquired between 1965 and 1980
