KING MELON WITH OPALESCENT SPOTS MASSIVE KEROSENE STAND LAMP, blue opalescent font, colorless base with swirl and dot pattern, No. 2 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a No. 2 lip burner, shade ring, colorless lip chimney with petal top and a pale blue opalescent globular-form shade. King Glass Co. Circa 1890. 13" H to top of collar, 5 1/4" SQ foot.
Lamp, burner, shade ring, and chimney undamaged, shade with two small shallow chips and a flake to the top and fitter with several minor flakes/roughness. Lamp with some scattered mold imperfections to foot, as made.
