HOBBS FOSTER / SEAWEED KEROSENE STAND LAMP, blue opalescent font, colorless base, metal screw connector with original glass sleeve, No. 1 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a No. 1 "QUEEN ANNE" slip burner and colorless slip chimney with a beaded top. Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 8 1/4" H to top of collar, 4 1/4" D base.
(UPDATED 7/26/18) Nearly undamaged with a single small chip to the edge of one base scallop and a light bruise to the interior of the glass sleeve, chimney with some kerosene staining to the fitter.
