Hammered metal center with male figure in profile. Brass leaf and acorn designs around detailed pewter inner rim. Small plaques reading Justicia, Pieta, Sapientia, and Constantia. Plaque below wood mount. Exterior plaque reading Won by Gus Zimmerman. In velour lined shadowbox. 22"Dia. X 27"Sq. *** Additional information discovered. *** The plaque was initially created for the Royal Household of William I, King of Prussia (later Germany) who reigned 02 January 1861 to 09 March 1888. In varied finished metals as presentation pieces. The male profile is that of William I. The inscriptions in Latin are Justice, Duty, Wisdom and Loyalty. Kaiserin Augusta was the Empress and spouse of William I.
