Description
BLOWN, CUT, AND ENGRAVED OPEN COMPOTES / TAZZAS, LOT OF THREE, colorless lead glass, comprising a blown and floral engraved example with cut flutes, a small-bowled example with hobstars and fans with a faceted and zippered stem, and a floral cut with a hollow stem and swirling foliate decoration. Probably Pittsburgh area. Third quarter 19th century. 8 1/2" H, 9 3/4" D rim, 6 1/8" D foot.
Hobstar tazza undamaged, floral cut nearly undamaged with a single chip to one sawtooth rim point, rose engraved with a crack to the stem.
