VICTORIAN CASED AND APPLIED-DECORATION GLASS BASKET, rose cased opal, ruffled rim above hobnails, applied ribbed amber feet, applied amber and mottled foliate decoration to the body, applied meeting branch handle, polished pontil mark. Probably English. Late 19th/early 20th century. 12" HOA, 11 1/2" DOA rim.
Excellent condition overall with a small chip to the body, and another small chip to the edge of the amber vine.
Provenance: From a Raleigh, NC, collection.
