Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. This is a trio of obsidian lithics, two arrowheads and one S-shaped blade. Obsidian was highly prized because of its incredible sharpness, and often used for ceremonial weapons. Size of largest: 5.25" L x 1.2" W (13.3 cm x 3 cm)
Provenance: ex-Houston Collection, acquired at local auction
