THREE PRE-COLUMBIAN HUMAN EFFIGY FIGURE ARTIFACTS - Includes: a Nayarit man on all fours with red slip and some negative resist designs (has repairs to about 50% of figure, some chips, loss to headdress) 3 1/2” H x 3 1/2” W x 4 5/8” D; a Intact figure with heart-shaped headdress 5 3/8” H (decoration has mostly eroded, but some can still be seen on back, repair to neck, chip on back of figure’s right shoulder) ; and a modeled figurine mounted on black wood base 6” H total (has some appliqué losses, a loss to one leg, hole on top drilled post-fire). Condition: These are ancient items and will show wear consistent with age and use. Individual flaws listed next to item above). Provenance: From the estate of South Florida collector J. J. Schmidt Jr. and were acquired before 1970.
