Description

Pair of 18th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty embroidery silk rank badges. Consist of two rank badges, each in a square shaped with arched top panel, embroidered in metallic threads with Longevity Shou character surrounded by Peony blooms and foliate above cresting wavy waves, against imperial yellow silk ground. Bordered by Ten Thousand, Wan, characters and Lingzhi ruyi blooms motif diaper ribbon beneath the Longevity Shou Medallion on top. Wooden framed, matted with yellow borders, set behind glass.
