17th/18th Century Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Duan ink stone carved unto a tapered rectangular form, fitted into a hardwood lidded box. The ink stone exterior adorned with deep reliefs carving Fu bat borne amidst scrolling clouds above the circular ink well represent the full moon, all sets over the cresting LiShui wavy water motif diaper. The stone displays attractive pale-celadon color with darker reddish and lighter hues.
