Large Black Leather Chesterfield Sofa

second half 20th century, with a tufted back and arms, raised on block-and-turned legs.

In "as found" condition. The sofa is sturdy and solid with no movement in the arms noted. No apparent losses to brass tacks or the buttons in the tufts. The seat cushions exhibit some lightening of color, wear and creases, most notably near their front edge. The wear to the cushions renders them less firm than the back and arms. No off odors observed. Scattered wrinkles and some cracks in the leather. The tops of both arms exhibit a number of pinpoint tears in the leather. Seat approx. 17-1/4" high
