Condition
Surface dirt and toning of the varnish layer; craquelure pattern visible; relined and retained original
stretcher bars. Generally difficult to penetrate varnish layer with UV light. Inpainting with corresponding
patch en en verso upper mid left (sky_; a few small areas of inpainting lower left (landscape); lower center
near the toes and along top edge. Surface abrasions with paint loss lower mid right along edge. Frame
with surface marks, nicks and abrasions; small losses along edges.
