SILK 1920'S BEADED "FLAPPER" ERA DRESS AND SCARF, silk dress in dark gold-colored satin with V-neck with dark orange silk chiffon cut velvet insert and tie, long puffed cut silk chiffon velvet sleeves with snaps at cuff, shirred at both shoulders, softly pleated skirt with cummerbund-style silk chiffon cut velvet sash and large 5" wide metallic copper beaded buckle, machine- and hand-sewn, hand-finished, no closures; with color-coordinated period scarf. Circa 1923. Dress approximately 40" long from shoulder seam to base of hem, 33" bust, 24" waist, 34" hip.
Fair condition, fragile with shattering throughout with some loss to both satin and cut velvet, pinholes and weak areas, scarf with water stains/discoloration.
