ANTIQUE / VINTAGE LADY'S CLOTHING ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising a black silk moiré taffeta skirt with flat front and soft gathers for small bustle, light weight polished cotton lining, hook and eye closures; a high-neck cotton blouse with shallow pouched front, white-on-white padded embroidery, mother-of-pearl button closures on back; and a ivory-colored silk fringed shawl. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. Skirt approximately 26" waist, 45 1/2" long; blouse approximately 32" bust; shawl approximately 62" W, 64" L, with 12" fringe.
Skirt in good condition with weak areas, splits, and shattering; blouse in good condition with numerous tiny pinholes, lacks one button, otherwise clean; shawl in good condition with pinholes and weak areas in silk, significant staining.
