A Byzantine silver and niello crescent ceremonial pectoral, c. 7th - 9th Century AD, with inlaid lettering reading '+EMMA NOVHA with a central monogram, central loop for suspension with vertical ridges. L: 8 1/2 in (21.5cm). A rare and most attractive piece with custom metal stand. Ex Wiltshire, UK private collection.
