American, late 19th century. A J. & E. Stevens "Hall's Liliput" cast iron mechanical bank, marked with title on side, PAT. DESIGN JULY 27 1875 on back, and PATENTED MAY & JAN 1876 on other side. Place a coin on figure's tray and the weight of the coin makes the figure turn to deposit the coin in the bank; ht. 4.5, wd. 3, dp. 3.25 in.

Spots of paint loss, could use a cleaning.
