Description
To include a painted clay tomb figure (yellow, ochre and white paint, 6 3/8" excluding base), a green glazed clay figure (midline crack, old repair, 6 3/8"), a figure of a ruler seated on a throne with a child (Isis with Horus(?), 2 7/16"), a dark glazed clay figure (6 1/8"), a green glazed tomb figure (4 1/8"), and a bronze figure of a female with a cat head, wearing a sun headdress (reverse has a partial hoop for use as a pendant; 2 7/8"). One figure with an inscription on the base reading "Lot 43/ Sotheby (sic)/ June 29 1894/ one of 6 at 241". The same with an impressed base mark "..W. Talbot Ready..".
