Forry purchased the book in the early 1950s and throughout the years had actors who had portrayed vampires, as well as other members of the horror genre, sign the book. Inscribed in blue ink, "To my friend, Forrest Ackerman, in remembrance, Bela Lugosi", and signed again in green ink by Lugosi. It includes the additional signatures of many legends of horror cinema including Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Bill Obbagy, Ingrid Pitt, Karl Freund, Donald A. Reed, Barry Atwater, Maila Nurmi "Vampira", Forrest J Ackerman, Carla Laemmle, Carroll Borland, John Carradine, Raymond McNally, Ferdy Mayne, Paul Naschy, and Barbara Leigh. Cloth worn, spine cloth and hinges repaired, front hinge cracked at title page. An incredible relic of horror, signed by the icons of the genre.
