FABRICE DE VILLENEUVE (French b. 1954) A PAINTING, "Still Life with Books, Tulips, and Blue and White Vase," oil on canvas, signed L/R "F. de Villeneuwe," and C/R in book spine. 39 1/4" x 31 3/4" NOTE: De Villeneuve was born in 1954 in Lille, France. He spent the majority of his childhood living in the country. De Villeneuve often incorporates scenes from his past, such as views of the ocean or detailed close-ups of native plants, into his artwork. Before becoming an artist, de Villeneuve was an antiques dealer. As an antiques dealer, de Villeneuve was surrounded with ornate objects, paintings, and furniture. The beauty of these objects inspired de Villeneuve to become a full-time artist. In addition to creating his own masterpieces, de Villeneuve owns an art studio that is run by a team of young artists. He currently resides in France.

Craquelure throughout, some minor losses, surface wear and small damages, but overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age.
