Description
A GROUP OF THREE LATE VICTORIAN ENAMELED GLASS PARLOR LIGHTING SHADES, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, consisting of a pair of opaque cased white and blue glass tulip form shades with hand painted flower blooms and birds, ending with ruffled ends, height: 5 1/8", fitting diameter: 4", exterior diameter: 8 1/2"; and a parcel gilt opaque white globe shade with ruffled ends, painted with a scrolling foliate and flower bloom motif on a pink ground, height: 5 1/2", fitting diameter: 4", exterior diameter: 7 3/8".
Condition
Very mild surface wear, rubbing, occasional loss to enamel, and mild chips mostly near fitting, but overall in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
