Ancient Roman Mold Blown Date Flask Circa 1st Century AD. A perfect Roman Eastern Mediterranean , mold blown wrinkled texture and amber color of the vase combine to give it the naturalistic representation of a dried date. Small mold blown examples such as this were common in the 1st Century AD and found throughout the Roman Empire. Intact, excellent condition.
