A custom-designed costume jacket worn by Michael Jackson during the 1984 Victory Tour with The Jacksons, as well as many other events and public appearances throughout the 1980s. The silver lame and white silk lined jacket contains a label reading "Bill Whitten" and is completely covered in Swarovski crystal loch rosen with gold seed bead detailing. The jacket has front hook and eye closure and three rows of decorative gold metal buttons down the front. Photos of Jackson in the jacket show it with and without the removable matching epaulets with beaded rope and tassels at left shoulder. The jacket is now paired with a fabric-over-leather sash covered in gold, clear, and purple beads with single snap closure. An original tranparency and a poster-size blow-up of the photo at left are included in this lot.
