"The Olde Apothecary Shoppe" dollhouse room box exhibited for many years at the Philadelphia Flower Show modeled after a Boyertown Pa. drug store in operation from 1863 to 1957, room has a coffered ceiling with dentil molding and two electrified double bulb lamps with glass shades, wall are covered in paper with light colored wood trim containing Victorian style details, large store window with exterior canopy and arched double front doors reveal lighted outdoor scenes from turn of the century Boyertown including a painting of a horseless carriage, streetcar, sidewalk, buildings and trees, interior public area has a two tone parquet floor with ebony & satinwood bands, wood and aluminum soda fountain with real marble top, ceramic sink and accessories, four marble top wire ice cream tables with sixteen matching chairs with blue upholstered seat cushions, wood store counter with marble top contains a gumball machine, cash register, paper dispenser, glass jars of treats and a curved candy display, six tall double door cabinets in a L-shape have marble kick plates and contain many tiny storage drawers and drug store bottles, crocks, boxes and accessories, display case closest to soda fountain contains a stained glass window above a cook stove with accessories, work room contains a plank wood floor, wood desk with chair, marble top work table with sink, wood cabinet with scale, shelves filled with crocks, bottles, books and accessories, backlit double window and door reveal a back alley with garden and faux building next door, other accessories include advertising, cigar store Indian, lead radiators and a penny fortune telling scale, the front of the room box is covered with a removable antique Victorian gold painted frame with glass and matting, top of box is hinged for access to wiring and outdoor areas, 36"W, 25"H, 24"D
