WHEELING, VIRGINIA (NOW WEST VIRGINIA) COIN SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF FOUR, each having backward-tipped fiddle back handle with pointed shoulders, three tablespoons marked to the back "J. BISHOP / WHEELING" for John Bishop (active 1839-1860), each with "P" monogram, and a salt spoon marked to the back "A.O. FAIRCHILD" for Artemas O. Fairchild (active c.1839 to 1855), with "WEB" monogram. Total weight: 5.040 ozt. Second quarter to mid 19th century. 3 3/4" and 8 3/8" L.
