Of ovoid form and raised from coral-petal inset foot ring, the jar is finely decorated with white jade plaques of recumbent mythical beast enclosed by raised lotus pattern on both sides, the sides flanked by raised Buddhist lion head mask with jade ring, the cover further fitted with white jade plaque with bagua decoration, surmounted with a reticulated white jade finial. Qing Dynasty period.
