Bisque socket head, large brown paperweight eyes, painted lashes, widely-arched and feathered brows, pale mauve eye shadow blush, closed mouth with pale pink accented lips, separately-modelled and applied pierced ears, brown human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, stamped Jumeau Medaille d’or Paris, original coil spring head attachment, dressed in contemporary silk costume with large straw bonnet, brown shoes. Commentary: Very lovely model of the early Jumeau bebe; finest quality very pale bisque, delicate facial decoration, excellent original body with original finish.
