Walters, "Catalogue of the Greek and Roman Lamps in the British Museum", 1914, printed for the Trustee of the British Museum, green cloth boards; three volumes in matching binding, being "A Guide to the Babylonian and Assyrian Antiquities", 1900, printed by Harrison and Sons, London, listed to spine as Volume II, "A Guide to the Antiquities of the Stone Age in the Department of British and Mediaeval Antiquities", 1902, printed by Horace Hart at the University Press, Oxford, listed to spine as Volume IV, and "A Guide to the Early Christian and Byzantine Antiquities in the Department of British and Mediaeval Antiquities", 1903, printed by William Clowes and Sons, London, listed to spine as Volume VI, each printed for the Trustees of the British Museum, with cloth boards, red leather spines with gilt lettering, marbled endpapers, and early bookplate stating "Presented to the Titchfield Library at Welbeck by the Trustees of the British Museum. 1904"; Arthur Smith, ed., et al, "A Guide to the Department of Greek and Roman Antiquities in the British Museum", 1912, printed for the Trustees of the British Museum, stated fourth edition, green cloth boards with gilt lettering; and Sidney Smith, ed., et al, "A Handbook to the Egyptian Mummies and Coffins Exhibited in the British Museum", 1938, the British Museum, London, printed by Harrison and Sons, London, with color plates, blue cloth boards with paper label to front cover. Together with "A Picture Book of Persian Pottery", 1933, Victoria & Albert Museum, published under the authority of the Board of Education, gray cloth boards. Seven volumes total.
Very good to excellent condition overall, expected minor wear to boards/covers, heavier to the spines of the three matched set examples, some minor stains or discoloration to boards/covers, interiors generally very clean, with only expected minor toning, slightly heavier to the first three examples.

Catalogue Note: Ivor Noel Hume (1927-2017), O.B.E. (Order of the British Empire), F.S.A. (Fellow, Society of Antiquaries), was a distinguished scholar, author, and former director of the Department of Archaeological Research at Colonial Williamsburg.
