Federico Jimenez 36mm Amber, Turquoise & Solid Sterling Silver 2.5" Pendant W/27" Rolo Chain - This lovely piece is made of solid sterling silver, and is comprised of a 2.5" x 2.25" pendant which hangs on a 27" rolo style chain. The pendant was made by Mexican silversmith Federico Jimenez, and is decorated with a 36mm amber cabochon. The pendant is then finished with approx. 10mm genuine turquoise accents which create the perimeter of the piece. Federico Jimenez is originally from the tiny village of Tututepec, Mexico, and has been collecting and making jewelry for many years. Today he is a world renowned authority on Mexican silver, Pre-Columbian and Mixtec jewelry. The pendant is stamped the conjoined "JF" hallmark of Jimenez on the back of the piece. (WEIGHT: 67.7 grams)
