Description
A four panel folding table screen inset with famille rose porcelain panels from the Republic Period. Each of the four porcelain plaques is delicately painted with birds and flowers in the main section and a smaller plaque with a poem can be found in the upper section of each panel.
Dimensions are: the screen measures approximately 23 3/8 inches long by 26 inches wide. The smaller plaques are approximately 3 1/2 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide, and the larger plaques are approximately 9 1/4 inches long by 2 5/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It is in overall good condition.
Provenance: From a Toronto, Canada estate.
