Description

Hand cast naturalistic painted bronze pelican, numbered 17/75 and signed by British artist Brian Arthur. Brian Arthur's bronze sculptures are cast using a lost wax process, polished, then patina in rich earth tones. Sometimes resembling fine veined marble, the hand applied patina on his bronzes beautifully enhances their composition. This limited edition sculpture was created in the late 20th century and is in excellent condition. Classy seaside focal point for any lake house. The pelican stands 9 1/2" tall by approx. 6" wide.
