Description
Fernand Leger (1881-1955) Art Deco wall hanging, circa 1927. Wool tapestry limited edition "Jaune" rug, manufactured by Marie Cuttoli and Lucie Weill for Myrbor, France. Hand knotted Algerian wool woven in a geometric, multi-colored pattern, with the artist's signature "Leger" hand stitched with black wool en verso. Loop for rod hanger sewn in on upper and lower back. Excellent condition (needs light cleaning, minor wear to edge binding, see photo). Measures 3' 9" X 7' 9".
