Ken Danby (Canadian, 1940-2007), untitled colored serigraph, 1970 CE. Signed, dated, and numbered 67/200 in pencil beneath the image. Ken Danby was a contemporary artist known for his hyper-realistic style and depictions of subjects inspired by everyday life such as this scene of a cart in a grassy field beneath the blue sky. Danby studied at Ontario College of Art, and following a period of experimentation with Abstract Expressionism found his true calling in realistic art. Size: 12.25" L x 16.75" W (31.1 cm x 42.5 cm)
