Description

Large Ice Fishing Lure or Decoy w/ Original Paint A large pike-shaped ice fishing lure or decoy in original paint, with tin and copper fins and tail (the tail is copper, the body fins are tin). The lure has tack eyes and a nice dry green surface shaded lighter on the bottom and brush-stroke highlights on the sides. Carved gills and mouth. 12 ½” from nose to end of the tail, 2” thick in the middle of the body and 3 ¼” at the dorsal and anal fins. Very fine condition with no splits, cracks or areas of punkiness. Paint is virtually complete except for the rubbing visible at the tail end of the body. Found this one in Michigan 35 years ago.
