Description
PATTERN-MOLDED AND FREE-BLOWN GLASS HAND BELLS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, frosted, cobalt blue, and opal, large example with swirled-rib bell and original glass clapper. Together with four opal cylinder vases with polychrome-enamel painted heron decoration, two with rings and indentions under base. Six pieces total. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. Second half 19th century. 4 1/4" to 10" H.
Undamaged, some minor wear to decorations. Manufacturing roughness to top of blue bell at handle juncture, as made.
