18th C. Devine Chinese Huanghuali Altar table. The table has a rectangular top with a framed center slab of Huanghuali. A carved band runs the perimeter of the table just below the top which is preceded by a handle-bar shaped apron that connects to each post. The legs are rounded in shape and taper outwards ever-so-slightly until they reach the ground. The legs are braced by a flat apron side plank which supports the structure. Sturdy ancient construction with perfectly joined mortise and tenon. The wood has a translucent glistening surface with natural patterns that please the eye. Some grain structures may be likened to the shape of ghost faces.

Dimensions: 32-3/8" H x 35-3/8" W

Over all in Excellent condition, with normal anomalies in nature, natural wood imperfection, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent; Normal consider ages and wears.
