Chinese scroll painting of bamboo shoots and variegated foliage on paper. Hand-painted Chinese cursive-script characters, with iron-red seals. Vertical columns of the wispy script take up the top left space of the image. Depictions consist of bamboo shoots, floral blooms amongst a grassy knoll. Di-gan Rod is firm and true allowing for the scroll to be wrapped easily and transported safely. Very well preserved and truly a pleasure to behold.
